Astronomy and Statistics International Symposium

The 1st Announcement
With growing number of astronomical facilities being put into use and massive astronomical data being produced, the post-processing and statistical analysis of astronomical data become a very important research topic.
The International Symposium on Astronomy and Statistics is scheduled to be held from October 9 to 12, 2018 at the Guangzhou Mingquanju Resort (Oriental Resort) in Guangzhou, which aims to improve statistical methods for astronomical data, and promote the exchange and strengthen the cooperation between Chinese and international communities.
For registration please complete the registration form and send it to yh_yuan@gzhu.edu.cn before the deadline Sep. 20, 2018. The subject of the email is "International Symposium on Astronomy and Statistics". The symposium is free of registration fee. Accommodation and food are on attendees’ own expense. The details of the program, accommodation and transportation will be announced in the follow-up notice.
The autumn of South China is the best season in a year. We look forward to meeting you in Guangzhou.
